Stats: STATS: P4 2.67 Gig Processor 512 Mbs of DDRAM 120 gigs of Hard Drive Space 64 Mb Video Card Cold Cathode Blue Neon light 3-80mm Fans 1-120mm fan 350 Watt power supply Case: CS-3171L Biohazard Grill for side panel fan http://images.deviantart.com/large/p...st_of_a_PC.jpg What Have you done??? |
i put a black cd rom in my tan case. it looks HOTTTT ;-)
|
If I had more money (or a PC really worthy of it), I'd put a window in the side of the case, maybe some blue neon lights, but beyond that, I'm not much for modded cases.
Yours looks about like what I'd like to do, though. |
sounds good
this would be a bump |
No need to bump your post until it's four or five pages off the front. People get around to reading everything in time. Just for future notice.

bigdong what case is that?
|
great case man, definatly awesome - i need to get another cathode and some more lit-fans
I saw one with hydrolics the otherday at a PC show it was insane - front opened with small hyrdolic pistons - it was quite awesome |
It's a custom built "Johnson Case". No, Really it's a generic i picked up from newegg.com for $25.00. Turned out sweet though. me and my buddy did the mod plus relocated the switch.
BEFORE!!!! http://www.casinternet.net/~jjohnson/mod/mod1.gif After!!!!!!! http://www.casinternet.net/~jjohnson/mod/mod9.gif |

props to all you modders.
I gots me a nice beige box. but its got it where it counts. |
Wow, sweet stuff.
I've just got a nice black aluminum case. It cost me a bundle, but it sure is sweet Specs, for those that care Althon XP 1900 1 gig of DDram two 40 gig IBM Hard drives in a RAID 0 array Radeon 8500 128 MB Windows XP pro |
dude - bigdong - do you have liquid cooling??
|
Lighted fans, luminescent corded IDE cables, big-ass window, and a bright lighted power supply.
The Antec Lanboy is now my favorite case in the universe, BTW. Great case if you're going to be moving your PC from one place the other on a regular basis. |
I run mine without the case on so my combination of a blazin' fast K6-2 and TNT2 card (runs at 156° wiht the case off, shuts down with it on.)
:) |
I've got a Pioneer DEH-P835R in my case. It's functional...kinda. It's got power, so the clock is there, but I haven't gotten around to making it pull in radio stations, and play computer sound, or CD's, either. I know how I'll do it, just just not done yet.
|
great work to all those modders who posted - plz post more
i just put in another cathode(blue) in last night and replaced a 120mm fan that busted - still needs more fans though anybody have an suggestion on how to put in a second power supply -SImo |
I went with a glow-in-the-dark water cooling system and a "Biohazzard" theme.

Pretty sweet I should make my pc look neat!
|
/\/\etalhea|) is that a radiator for the water cooling system of is it just an unnessecary fan?
|
My case has an after-market side window. The rubber it came with to hold the window in place never held it there very well, so there is no longer any rubber at all. Just duct tape wrapped around it. :)
Computer itself is pretty shitty for now, until I'm able to upgrade (hopefully soon) Currently: AMD Duron 750 (First thing to get upgraded...) 384 MBs PC2100 RAM RADEON 8500 30 GB Western Digital HD (Second thing to get upped...) A7N8X Deluxe Mobo |

I had a cheap case (10$) i decided to hack apart and have fun with. I ended up cutting a splash type window in the side. Painted it black with more blue splashes.
added 3-way switches to control all inside fans, and a switch to control a blue cathode inside. Looked alright but was so freaking loud because of the cheapness of the case I went back to my old nice case. |

I think when you get into modding a case you can truely call yourself a geek
|
You might have just been a handyman without anything else to work on
