Palm Tungsten T
I just purchased a Tungsten T Palm for a replacement for my Palm VIIx which I used for work and home not only for the normal functions but also to be able to get things wireless. This new tungsten is enabled with this new blueboard wireless feature that only works if I have a phone to hook it to for a dial up. I was told that there is a wireless card coming out for it in a few months.
I was wondering from you all if you know of the card or of anything that I can due to make this completely wireless without buying a new cell phone to use just for this. Thanks everyone. |
Blueboard? Do you mean bluetooth?

I'm guessing that you're meaning WiFi when you say completely wireless. Sadly, there are no WiFi SD cards available yet, but there are two companies developing them. Hagiwara and Sandisk.
Hagiwara already has a working model that they are just testing now. I'm not sure about Sandisk, but theirs promises to be an expansion card in addition to WiFi. I believe they are making 128MB and 256MB models. There's also no definite release dates either. But I would venture that they will be out by the end of September. -Tom |
What sucks about the Palm line is that they tradeoff b/w Bluetooth and 802.11b. The Tungsten T has Bluetooth, but no Wifi. The Tungsten C has Wifi, but no Bluetooth. GIVE ME BOTH DAMMIT.
