AT&T Class Action lawsuit
Just got an e-mail today from AT&T about $16,000,000 that is to be dispensed. This is the first I've heard about it, but as a long-time AT&T user, I think I may get a very thin slice of the pie.

AT&T proposes $18 million settlement for New Jersey ETF lawsuit | Business Center | iPhone Central | Macworld
First news hit when I googled it. Basically says you're entitled to $140 dollars back if you paid an early termination fee with AT&T after 1998. Which, I don't quite understand. I mean, it's not a big secret that the fee itself is absolutely, ridiculously high. But, if you agreed to it anyway, evidently it wasn't a concern of yours then. I mean, nobody is forcing you to sign the contract. Of course this comes out of a settlement, meaning it's probably cheaper for AT&T to just pay out for the few folks who will actually jump through the hoops to get their refund than it would be to fight it out in court.
