Dr. DivX for easy DivX encoding
I recently downloaded an eval of Dr. DivX from www.divx.com. It allows you to easily encode DivX from (decryped) VOB, live source, etc. Very nice.
Dr. DivX may not give you as much control over settings like FlaskMPEG, but how many of us really understand all of those settings? Dr. DivX is $50 and includes the DivX 5.05 Pro codec. I use DVD Decryptor to rip the VOBs and then Dr. DivX to encode. Couldn't be easier.

Eh ill stick to VirtualDub and or Premiere. Also i like xvid over divx, ever since the pro versions came out i decided enough was enough and went free source. It just seems wrong if you look at the orgins of the divx name and the codec as to what it has become, how can they warrent us paying for something that orginally was stolen and hacked from microsoft code and then the name "divx" i believe was just a joke on the loser circuit city limited use dvds.
