Screen Video recorder for Windows XP
I am curious to know if anyone has found a video recorder/screen capture for Windows XP that will record a live stream video and it's audio.
Thanks for the help. |
that's a pretty intensive request. What are you trying to record and broadcast?
|
I am looking to record some tutorials online and then update them by recording the screen and the programs that are opened. Looking for something to track the mouse and to record audio and the video of the actions occuring onscreen.
Will probably also be a point of having a live broadcast in the background that I would like to record at the same time. |
I warn you, I have tried over a dozen or so of these programs trying to do exactly this. None have ever captured any sort of video. Even worse, only some have captured mouse movements. Granted this was over a year ago so maybe something new has come along.
If you are going to find it, it will be listed at VIDEOHelp's Screen Capture Tool's section. It probably wont be free either. |
live broadcast meaning streaming video?
you can look at the camtasia products. Techsmith makes some very good tools and they are widely used. They aren't cheap and run $299 You can see even some of the demogirl.com samples of her showing off new features. |

It will do what you are looking to do. I used to use it back when I used Windows. |
