New AOL 8.0 - Now With 1025 Hours Free and... fanart?
Well, 1025 hours free is certainly a sign of ever-increasing desperation...
But this new AOL CD I recieved in the mail - in a rather nice clip-close CD tin case, sorta like a half-size DVD case and smaller than a jewel case I might add - just puzzles me. It looks like they're using some amatuer k-pop fanart they pulled off of someone's Angelfire website or something... I took it out in my garage, set it up against a piece of plywood, and shot it until it shattered into many pieces with my .22 air rifle. The rifle is powerful enough to punch through the CD and both sides of the tin. There is a pile of about 60 shattered AOL CDs out there, all victims of the rifle and/or a WD-40 Torch. |
LMAO......so that's what I can do with all of those AOL CDs that have been piling up. Thanks for the tip!

I put mine on a corkboard and hang it on the wall. THen I move the board around on the wall so that in the morning for most of autumn and all of winter the sun reflects off them and hit my roommate in the face.

They make great coasters, or if you're good enough, you can melt them slightly, bend them, and make bowls.

I don't remember the specific link that I am looking for but you can always make a lamp. Here is a similar link that I googled http://neil.fraser.name/hardware/lamp/
This site also came up in my search an it seems perfect for this thread. (uses for aol cd's) http://www.eagle-wing.net/FunStuff/G...AOL-CD01.shtml |
I use mine as frisbees, they work great. Throwing them off the 5th floor balcony. "OOP'S... sorry for hitting your car down there" :)
