D-Link Wireless Adapter Card Not Recognized
I've just rebuilt my PC and stupidly forgot that you have to install the drivers for my D-Link DWL-G520+ adapter card BEFORE plugging the PCI card in. Now having installed the driver it still won't recognize the card (it shows up as "Network Controller" under Other Devices in Device Manager). I tried taking the card out, booting windows, shutting the PC down again, reinstalling the card and then rebooting Windows, but this didn't work. Any ideas how I can get it to recognize the card?

Highlight Network Controller in device manager and hit delete or uninstall on it. Might have to right click and go to uninstall, etc. When you restart it should be gone.
