Need a good system monitor app

Hey dudes, I need a good system monitor app for windows. Yknow the drill, should be small, resource friendly, pretty and free (or in widespread piracy). Any suggestions besides MBM?

Thanks in advance

Hmmm... I wonder how well that works. I know taskmanager has one and there's another performance monitor app but nothing with temperatures, voltages, etc.

Oh well, I found a cool, lightweight one:

I like that a lot. It's telling me my +12V rail is actually running at like 9.6V ... not good!!!

What do you mean by "system".

Do you mean hardware? Or software (CPU utilization, disk etc).

For the software side... the previous link (performance monitor) works and is available on all windows. Fastest way to get it is to type "mmc" in the run box or command line then load up the performance stuff.

For other software monitor, go to SysInternals.com (now owned by M$) and download process monitor. This is like a better task manager. Their file monitor and disk monitor are good also.

For hardware... I dunno. This is not my area. If the hardware is broke, that's usually obvious. If it's not broke but hot/cold etc - that's not an area that I care much about.

What you want is Serious Samurize.

Their home page appears to be down just now, so here's the Wikipedia entry. You can download it from lots of places, although their home page is a good place to start. Once, you know, it's available again.

It's so configurable that when you start getting into it you sort of get vertigo. But I've run it very happily for several years as a teeny box in the bottom right hand corner of my screen telling me instantaneous network throughput, CPU and memory load, etc.
