Help with pdf printer software
Hello,
I need a good pdf printer driver that creates PDFs from documents printed to it.. I don't need any editing facilities, basically I just need to print my Word, Excel and other documents to it before I send it to my parteners. I've already did a search on Google but I couldn't find anything satisfactory by now, the free alternatives either had limitations or advertising displayed, and the paid ones were too complicated for use Someone reccomanded my this software: http://www.amicutilities.com/pdf-writer/ ! Someone tryed it ? It`s to expensive ? |
I've used the pdf printer for a couple of years without any problems. It's simple, free, and it doesn't print any advertising on your pdfs.

cutepdf is good like sapiens suggested.
I install PDFcreator on every PC I touch though - http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator Download link (sourceforge) - http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/p...t.exe?download |
I use Primo PDF: http://www.download.com/PrimoPDF/300...ml?tag=lst-0-1

we use PDF creator at work, unless the user really needs adobe (for forms) pdf creator works great

Just wanted to add my voice for both CutePDF (very straightforward, print and out comes the PDF) and PDF Creator (has slightly more options in terms of when you create tge PDF - name, title, embedded info, etc.) I've used Cute PDf more just because I discovered it earlier, but installed PDF creator on my new machine because I prefer GPL-licensed software when I can get it.

another vote for PDF Creator. Seems to work fine for my simple needs
