Can I move shows from my dvr to my pc?
Hi guys, I was wondering if there is an easy way to archive or just move prorams from my motorola dct 3412 to my laptop preferably via firewire.
Any sage advice, O wise and sharing-minded TFPers?

nope. that's why i like tivo....
you can use a Sony DVDirect to burn it onto a DVD then rip the DVD. Other than that... no. and that's another reason the cable co's like the DVR better than the Tivo.

You could play it through a TV Tuner Card on your computer, capture it, and burn it to DVD. If I really, really wanted to do that, that's probably how I'd have to do it.
But it's so much simpler to find a torrent of the show and download it fresh! |
