FireFox Issue...
Not sure what's going on but each time I go on www.fulham.com (an electrical ballast website) and chose a country, it closes down. I notice that some sites I Google and click on, FF does the same thing. I did it on the version 1.5x and the 2.0 version.
Any ideas oh wise computer gurus out there? |

I just went to that site on Firefox v.1.5.0.8 and had no problems. It does require Java. Do you have Java installed? If not it is easy to find the link on Firefox's homepage under extensions.

I went to the site on FF 2.0, worked fine. As ratman said, it does require Java and also Flash.

Bizzare...I used to be able access it but for some reason FF closes. I looked into the Tools/Options/Content and Java and JavaScript is enabled. I also have the JRE SE v1.4.2_05 looking at the Mozilla site and installed programs as well as Flash Player 8.
As for the plug-ins, I'm not too sure which to DL...there are so many but doesn't really say anything definitively that would help my situation. I'm not savvy enough to tweak. I'll try re-installing and go from there. Thanks so much for the pointers and will keep you updated if I figure it out. There's just not enough hours in the day to tinker...LOL. Alright...I don't have a clue what was going on in my thought process finding the plug-ins earlier. Somehow I searched and "Viola", it was there in plain print. I feel like a jack@$$. Thanks again and being patient with my noobishness. Last edited by actinic; 11-10-2006 at 07:06 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
