My keyboard is Messed up
 

I just got this laptop from my father because my old comp. died. its a toshiba fairly new, with windows xp. When ever i type and press the quotation key, or the question mark key they do this, respectfully è and É this means its on some sort of language setting, and i want to change it, also everyone once and a while the curser will randomlly flip back up a document, like page up, but not a page, and i dont hit any keys to do it, its strange and any help would be great

try doing this.

press "(Left)Alt + (Left)Shift"

it should switch the language.

i agree, if you knew that then mabye you can help with what happened to my old compter. Its pritty old but ive updated parts and cleaned it off many times, the other day i kicked out the powercord and when i booted up again the cooler is all messed up. Windows Me has somehow stuck itself on the lowest color setting and the largest screen size and everytime i try to change it it asks to reboot and when it does reboot it doesnt change anything, its really messed and all the porn looks useless

It lost the drivers to your video card. Reinstall them, and you'll be back in business.
