My cable co. wants to charge me $30 a month for antenna service because "we give you antenna service from 3 different metro areas around the country," which I care about not at all ;)

But I know most set-top antennas are terrible for reception. Any recommendations on a good one to get that will get clean signals without constantly having to screw with the position?

OMG I have never heard of a cable company that wants to charge extra for local service. WTF?

I've been waiting for Radio Shack's 15-624 to get back into stock. I should have jumped on it when they were in stock a while back, but I got greedy and tried to have it delivered to a store for no shipping costs. link

The one Randerolf posted is good....But it goes without saying that it doesn't matter how good the antenna is if you aren't getting a decent signal in the first place.
