ISO: best way to collect email addresses and put them in a searchable database
okay- my workplace "school" has had a fairly good website forever, but the district office refuses take them time to put a registration form that would allow students and parents to fill in the email address and various classes/interests so that teachers and other users could send out bulk emails- like say to all parents of freshmen, or to a certain first period class.
To make is painfully easy for the office what program or code should they use to collect and put the information into an accessable database? The site uses Dreamweaver- we use an Imail client by ipswitch and we also have some cold fusion code and a cold fusion coder who can make modifications. I want to send this information to the higher-ups so they can see how easy this should be.
