Flash MX Actionscript help.
I'm working on a project. Basically, I have a bunch of buttons and when you click one it pops up a movieclip on the stage. When I click a different button I want it to clear the movieclip that the previous button loaded and load a new clip in it's place. I can get it to load the movieclip but I can't get it to go away once I click a different button. I can get remove.movieclip to remove a specific movieclip but not the last loaded.
Can someone explain how I can do this? I figured it out. I didn't need to remove the movieclip, I just needed to attach the next movieclip at the same depth and it automatically replaced it.. Whew.. That only took half as long as it took me to figure out idname needs quotations around it to work. |
