Your Sony Ericsson experiences? Alternatives?

I used a Sony Ericsson S710a when it first came out for about 8 months, and absolutly loved it. I especially liked it's phenomanal 1.3 megapixel camera, and removable flash memory slot. I loved being able to snap decent quality photos anywhere I go that looked quite good on a computer. Then due to an aquatic incident, my phone got absolutly soaked and was ruined.

With my insurance plan I was able to get the newer W600i (also a spin phone with 1.3 megapixel camera and other similar features) as a replacement. I was pretty excited, thinking all the features I loved in the S710a would be even better in this newer model. Wrong. The camera is absolutly horrid! I don't even use it anymore because the picture quality just isn't worth it.

I have S710a and W600i pics here for comparison:

Both folders have assorted high and low resolution pictures. I can hardly believe that the W600i pics came from a NEWER phone that supposidly had the same camera. The S710a pics look great high and low resolution, as well as in darker situations. If I don't have ample light on the W600i (i.e. outdoors on sunny day), they get very noisy and pixelated. There is a light meter as well as white balance settings, but nothing helps the quality.

Every other feature I liked on the S710a has also somehow been downgraded on the W600i! Theres no removable media slot (I loved that because my laptop also has a built in 5-in-1 reader), the spin action has much more friction, the number keys are very cramped, and the screen is smaller!

My point is, i'm looking to upgrade. I'm even considering down grading back to a S710a! Does anybody own a W900i or other Sony Ericssons that are as good as the S710a? I'm mostly interested in the camera and memory capabilities.

I was just interested in hearing your opinions on the Sony Ericssons, or something else that you would suggest with similar features in mind.

Over the last 6 or 7 months I've migrated from being a Nokia user to an SE man through and through. At my last job they gave me a P910i for handling support calls and the like. Very nice phone if you're looking for something with more PDA functions than your average celly. It's a bit bulky and the camera was only VGA, but it did have expandable memory.

I had to give that phone back when I resigned, so I was on the lookout for something new. I recently got a SE W810i and I love it. Takes great pics (2 megapixel) and can take up to a 4 GB card. Great mp3 player and syncs very nicely with the PC.

In fact, I'm using it right now as my internet connection. :)

I bought the w850i thinking as I had a sony walkman NW I would be able to use tracks from my library. It does not appear so and it seems I have to re rip the track off CD as MP3.
Any one know if there is software so I can just pull tracks from my library as the phone is great my walkman is great but the idea of reburning the CVDS is killing me.

Please help

I use a Z520a and have mixed opinions. I loved it up until a few months ago. The screen crapped out and I had to get a new one. When I got the first replacement, I got it home and the speaker wasn't working. The second replacement, the small screen on the front didn't work properly. The third replacement is now shutting itself off when I close it, instead of staying on like it's supposed to. So now I have to get another one. It might just be the batch of phones these 3 replacements came from, but I'm not sure.

Sorry for the point-form sentences, just on my way out the door. I'll probably stick with SE, but am thinking about a different model.
