How to dismantle a iPAQ
Hi, as the title suggests, i would like to find out how to dismantle a iPAQ desktop as i'm going to change the cpu.

As I recall you can remove one of the plastic sides by pressing a release button on the rear of the unit. I also seem to recall that you needed a special hex key to open the case further.
I hated these machines. I'll email my old coworker from back in those days and see if he has any better info than what I dimly recall...

Yes, its a socket 370 mobo so i'm going to upgrade to 1ghz as at the mo it is 733mhz.
The button on the back releases the cd drive, then if you press the top of the side covers the come off and then you get the spiecal screws that i have a screwdriver for or you can use a flat head one but i took them out but still couldnt get to the mobo, i think you need to take the silver plastic stuff off that is on the top and front but i dont know how. Chris
