Microsoft Outlook Error + Internet Explorer error

I recently setup a POP3 email account with Microsoft Outlook 2003 on my laptop at home and everything was working fine for about 3 weeks. Yesterday AM I sent an email message, created another one and went to sent it. I got the following error:

Task 'Casedriven Email - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

After a lot of trial and error I discovered that not only could I not access this POP3 account via Outlook but I now could not access the web email access page (www.casedriven.com/webmail2) on my laptop without getting the typical "The page cannot be displayed " error. I found this rather odd since I could access that webpage via other computers or even my phone. It is as if my laptop will not let me access any casedriven.com web pages. I mean you can access those pages, she can access those pages, they can access those pages, I can access those pages - just not anymore from this laptop, all of a sudden.

What I have tried but has not worked:

1.)turning off antivirus programs (although should not be an issue since it worked for three weeks with them turned on).

2.)deleting the POP3 account and then recreating it within Outlook. Does not work because when I tried to test the account settings I get the follow two errors:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. (which I did)

and

Send test e-mail message: The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. (which I did)

I work from home and it is such a pain in the ass to have to check my email with my cellphone but that's what I am going to have to do until I resolve this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What error do you receive when accessing the website? Is it related to your email or some general http error?

You've probably already tried but I've found that rebooting takes care of many persistent Outlook errors. It is far from solid after many periodic pop account checks and eventually fails on some accounts while other accounts will continue working. How often it happens varies by system and patch level, possibly POP server too. Definitely something I need to understand better.

And if it helps, I can't even get to that webmail page due to a 404 error. The casedriven site index just speaks of it being updated.

I get a 404 from my office on both IE6 and Bon Echo (Firefox 2.0a). Is it possible that casedriven.com moved their webmail to a new URL, and that the other computers are reading a cached copy?

I was able to load http://www.casedriven.com/webmail/ , if that helps.

So I have figured out that it definitely has to do with my wireless network. If I turn my wifi off and connect using someone else's wifi connection, my outlook works fine.

So how do I get my network to unblock casedriven?
