i'm graduating and the money has started coming in! (not a lot, but a lil, about 60 bucks)
and i'm going to burn it all on my pc, and i was wondering what i should buy to make it "cooler". it's already got a UT case badge on it it's got 3 fans that light up. i got a 5 button optic intellimouse explorer. that's about all teh cool stuff i got, what other stuff should i buy? here are some pic's of my case http://us.st7.yimg.com/store1.yimg.c...n_1743_1906880 --------- http://www.directron.com/lib/directron/xcaseside |
Get a better PSU and stealth your drives if you can. Also, a window and some cold cathode lights couldn't hurt.

Cut out those mesh holes on the back and get some proper fan grilles for the rear exhaust.

Fan grills, cathodes, blowholes, all good, cheap and easy mods. So is stealthing. I'm guessing you have adequate components or you'd be upgrading those instead of modding. Another good thing to do (not so much a mod as a tidying up thing) is to get rounded cables and use those, and zip-tie all your PSU cables. This will not only improve your airflow, but also will make your case look neater and your components more visible.
Or, you could take the whole thing apart and put it into a toaster  |
