Computer Freeze/Slowdown???
Greetings All,
Sometimes when I do a lot of uploading/downloading my computer basically stops functioning. I have to restart my rig and everything returns to normal. I noticed that when I restart I get a pop from Windows saying a program isnt responding and its a Microsoft program. I cant expand the popup to see what exact Microsoft program it might be. I realize this might be incredibly vague and if there are additional details I can provide I will surely do so. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, etc. I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 2.6HT P4 1.2G DDS RAM ATI 9800Pro M-Audio 5.1Rev Windows XP SP2

You can check your error log to see the problem after you reboot. If you're using XP Pro, go to the Start Menu, then to Settings, then to the Control Panel. Go to Administrative Tools and then open event viewer. Any programs that stopped responding will be listed under the "Application" field as an error. Right-clicking on that error entry and selecting "Properties" should tell you all about the error, including what program it was that stopped responding.
