organizing my electronics
i got a slew of crap i carry around daily... camera, headphones in a small case, afew usb thumbdrives, a usb cord, usb extension, a mouse, and afew misc things... right now it's just all piled into a pocket in my bag... i have CD's as well but they don't go into the same pocket.
is there any good products out there for organizing stuff like this yet? i know i'm bound for breaking or losing something, so i figured i better try and figure out something better before i do how do you carry your stuff? comments / suggestions?

Camera - Get a camera phone if you're not looking for really great pictures
USB Thumbdrives, USB cord, CDs - You should invest in an external hard drive if you're willing to carry it around. You could turn your CDs into images and put them all on your Hard Drive and basically carry around all of your thumbdrives and the like on one hard drive. You could also get an iPod and store files on that. What I have right now is a camera phone with Windows Mobile on it that I have a gigabyte SecureDisc in and I keep files on there. You could turn your camera, USB drives, and the like into that assuming you only have one CD in there at a time. It's worked out pretty well for me. Not sure about the mouse- Just get a laptop mouse I suppose.

actually i got a nice camera, i carry around for nice pics.. the USB's are perfect, different USB's for different uses(portable apps, personal files, work stuff...), it's not a matter of free space. and yes, i use a laptop mouse, i carry around the usb cords for misc useage, for camera and hooking stuff up.. my setup works rather well, i'm just looking to carrying it a bit more safely and in a manner that would let me yank out what i wanted faster

I started using small snack size zip locks. I also started paying attention to how much I really needed to carry around and what I was carrying around. So I was able to carry a smaller bag instead of lugging a bunch of extra stuff for no reason other than "being prepared."

They often review gear bags over at The Gadgeteer... if you don't mind carrying a man-purse.
