How do I make files show details instead of thumbnails?
This has bothered me for some time with Windows XP. I hate having my file contents shown to me as thumbnails. I like the details view. I know how to make each folder display as details (View > Details) but how do I make it so ALL of my folders are set to details as a default? I can't figure it out and it bothers me to have to change every file manually. I imagine it's something simple that I've overlooked, but I'm swallowing my pride and asking for help. :)
Thank you in advance. -Tamerlain |
Setup the first folder the way you like it, the in Windows Explorer click Tools>Folder Options then select the View tab and click the Apply to All Folders button.
