free Web Hosting???
 

Does anyone here know of a place I can get a web page hosted for free? I was hosting it at home when I had RoadRunner ( I miss RR) but know that i have moved I have a slow DSL line and I am unable to host my web site now...

What I am looking for is a site that has ftp uploads, and has no banners or pop-ups. At one time there was several free host but are there any left???????

boomspeed gives you 1mb.

most isp's give you 5 mb's of space.

The big clincher is always being able to link pictures from the host site. Most free sites won't let you do that for reasons concerning band-width.

webspace-empires policy

Users are not allowed to post files which are not linked to an html page on the users site, for example a picture is displayed. Links back to files on a user's webspace-empire.com page from other sites must also link FIRST to an HTML page on webspace-empire.com, which then links to the picture.

but i wonder if it's possible and they'll delet your account when the find out.

bet the just disable the pic, that's what geocities does

see the thing is I have ALOT of pics on my website, granted total it is only 7.75 MB but there must be at least 150 pics and it would take forever to upload one at a time as webspace-empire.com as you do.... their pages kept timeing out on me when i was trying to look and play around on their server......

Nomad - does web1000 allow direct linking to images from outside the domain?
