questionable shit

is there, at any level of membership a forum called "questionable shit"?

Glory's Sun 03-02-2005 06:48 AM

not that I know of

Charlatan 03-02-2005 06:51 AM

pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...

Redlemon 03-02-2005 06:55 AM

That has the sound of "where bad threads go to die". If it does exist, it is probably only accessible by moderators.

ratbastid 03-02-2005 06:57 AM

As a ModSpouse (tm), I can confirm that rumor. "Questionable Shit" is a moderator-only forum where iffy or over-the-line threads go when they die.

Now that your mind is at ease, do like Charlatan says and pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Thanks :D.

I'm going to conjecture here a little further...

1. It is easier to move a thread or post rather than delete it.
2. The QS forum serves as a training ground for new Moderators, so that they can see the sort of things that they should be removing.
3. The QS forum also keeps the Moderators accountable to each other; if it is determined that a thread was incorrectly removed from public view, another Moderator can move it back.

Who was that coloured fruit?

filtherton 03-02-2005 10:20 AM

I think you folks should give me access for a while so i can learn what type of behavior isn't acceptable.;)

There is still so much to be learnt, like who the man behind the curtain is? very questionable indeed.

Raises hand!

Finally a chance to use this power for good.

Charlatan 03-09-2005 12:04 PM

Mal... I don't think that was the kind of bitch Bill was looking for but please proceed... I could use the laugh.

Having gotten my custom user title...

Zeraph 03-15-2005 10:14 AM

Well assuming you don't mind people viewing the Questionable Shit, maybe it should be publicly available, you just can't post in them anymore. That way people, especially rookies can see what is and is not acceptable.

Daval 03-15-2005 11:14 AM

That would never work. The whole reason we use that forum is to remove things that are innapropriate.

Allowing the general populace to access that forum would defeat the purpose.

SecretMethod70 03-15-2005 01:26 PM

Also, it is called questionable shit...because sometimes there is a question regarding the appropriateness of a thread. That is where we discuss such matters.

Zeraph 03-17-2005 03:02 PM

[edit] nevermind, I think I get it.
