email address domains blocked?
 

My wife tried to register an account this week using her aol.com address and she got some message back saying her email was being blocked.

Halx doesn allow aol addys (along with yahoo and hotmail) to be used when registering

Is that a personal preference or did the board run into problems with people on those networks?

If I remember right it had something to do with a person being able to have so many email addy's with those services that its difficult to keep a banned person out...IP blocking wont always do it.

Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong

I wanted to invite someone to join and again, because of this, they can't. Anyone suggest an alternative email possiblity?

have you tried gmail? I havent heard that one is blocked

I dont know if Gmail works either, but i have all of my invites if you want to try it. PM me.

GMAIL accounts work fine, as I am using one as my email address on here.
