How To Post A Pic?
 

Greetings,
I have these pics that I would like to post but they are on my harddrive. How do I include them in my post? I have tried cuting and pasting but to no avail. The insert image button above is only for pics from the web. How do I post pics from my harrdrive? Can anyone instruct me how to do this? Much obliged. Thanks

First you will need a website to host them from.
After that it is pretty simple to slap img tags around the addie and post it.
There are places that offer space but most of them have bandwidth limits and content controls.

Some of the threads have a Browse function to attatch an image (Tilted Photography & Tilted Photochoppin' as examples) on the Post a Reply screen. Other threads do not have this option, so you will have to hot-link from your own web space as redravin had mentioned - and for a detailed explination of hot-linking, try this thread: how to post and link pictures from an msn group.

I was curious how you post pictures in your reply...without having a web-sight to host them. Or do you always need a sight to host em?

yes, the pictures will always need a web site to host them..
...that is, they need to reside on some http:// address.

(unless the particular forum has attatchments enabled, in which case you can just upload the pic from your HD)
