Is TFP large or Something
 

Ive noticed since I started regularly visiting TFP, my daily download has shot up, I was just wondering, how much data does TFP send,

I normally Visit 2-3 Forums and read only 10 or so threads, and i can get 30megs of download.

Or is it all these attacks on my 135 port

I doubt it is TFP causing your download spike. The most you get from TFP is html, and a few images (plus a few other good uses of code). But there is no reason for 30 megs of download, unless you visit all the pics in the Nonsense forum, clear your cache, and look at the nonsense forum again.

Oh yeah, you may want to checkout a good virus/trojan cleaner, like AVG (free) from http://www.grisoft.com just in case you have some stuff that shouldn't be on there.

30 megs is quite a bit.

most forums dont contain many images (and most images on most pages are already cached....) and mainly contain text.

Attacks on port 135, my guess is MSBlast Virus trying to get to your PC.

Tickford beat me to it. Sure sounds like MSBlast - or one of the other creepy crawly viri causing no end of headaches these days.

(Friggin' 2000 emails all trying to infect me on Monday!!)
