Password change?
I logged in just now, and I was suggested by the system, that I need to change my password, because it's 14 days old!
Is this some kind of error or do they actually need to be changed that often? When I recently became active here again, I was then suggested the password change as well, but it had gone a year or so since my last log-in by then. |

bagatelle,
please read this thread. http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/general...ail-addys.html To err on the side of caution, we've requested that people change their passwords.

Because Gawker is such a monolith, there's been a general recommendation that anyone who has ever posted there change ALL their passwords. They had a huge data breach, and it potentially exposed a lot of passwords, especially ones that aren't unique or have easily identified commonalities. We're erring on the side of caution, and we're sorry for the hassle.
