it's under your control panel
Top left of your screen, "User CP" under "settings and options" there's a "edit ignore list" Enter pesky user name of choice, and alas, sweet release! (no pun intended, honest) edit; yay links! http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/profile.php?do=ignorelist |

Keep in mind that we turn this feature off on a fairly regular basis. Part of a mature discussion is confronting opinions than your own. You assume that, if it's turned on now (and I'm not going to bother to check), that it will be going away soon.
If you feel someone is picking on you or is otherwise causing a problem, please let the staff know. Part of our job is to deal with things like that. And if this feature is what's going to keep you around, you should really think about whether or not you belong in a place that prides itself on mature discussion and all that entails.

my recommendation doesnt involve any steps at all actually.
If you want to ignore someone you can either read their post and decide not to respond, or not read their posts period. in all my years here i havent yet put a single person on ignore yet, and i dont think i will. you know, not running away from your issues and all that...

^^Really? Cause I have, but not because I had any beef, but because I wanted to see what it looked like. Essentially the sensation that the ignore feature left me with was that of possibly a burning curiosity. It doesn't exactly not show the users post, it shows that that user has commented and his post is sort of encased in something similar to a "/hide" tag.
I would DIE of wanting to know what that person had to say!! |

Don't be so hard on yourself. You're still relatively new here, and you're still learning what this place is about.

Dude, you know I wear my hate on my sleeve. You're biggest mistake is thinking you're special again. You're not. Get back in line, lemming.
