Time of "last visit" lost
I'm having a problem where TFP loses track of when I last visited. I depend on that information, so that I can click on the "Go to first new post" button and pick up threads where I left them off.
I haven't been on for about 3 or 4 days. However, when I visit today, the "New Posts" option only goes back to about 10:10 AM, July 6 (that's this morning, Eastern time zone). I had the same problem a week or two ago. Is there something being tweaked in the background with the upgrades, or is it something on my end?

I have been on vacation since last week and haven't been doing any work on the main forums as all even when I've been doing any work only on the chatroom.
There's only 3 variations that the 2 are database based and is server intensive for large communities. The other is cookie based. If you clear your cookies when you close Firefox or any other cleaner method, the site has no idea when you last visited and can produce some strange results. The solution for this is to put tfproject.org on the whitelist so that it doesn't clear the cookies. It will also act strangely when you use multiple computers since the cookies will be out of sync.

Nah, it's none of those. But it is interesting to hear that it isn't your work, Cyn. It is possible that Chromium is doing something wrong with prefetching, I'll have to look into that.

I don't clear cookies, use MIE8. I have no issues with other forums using vBulletin. I normally access from a single PC although on rare occassion do use another device (mobile). However, the issue is always as though I had visited more recently which shows fewer new posts than it should. If I accessed TFP from multiple devices I think the opposite would be happening.
