QUESTION Limiting the number of posts per page, per thread

I currently have my posts per page set to 100, which I think is a bit more than most but I like to read most of the thread without having to click next.

There are a few threads, however, that contain a lot of image/video content that take a long time to load and eat up too many resources because of the high number of posts.

Is there a way to change the number on a specific thread, without having to change it globally in one's UserCP? Even if there isn't a setting or feature, maybe there's a bit of code that could be added to the URL (&showposts=25 ??) that would do the trick.

Not a train smash if there aint, just thought I'd put my hand up.

I do know of certain other foreign forums where the "&s=15, 25, 50" posts option is available, but I don't think I've ever seen it employed here, which my mind says this particular vbulletin setting is not currently adapted or featured for use in the TFP.

Yeah, UserCP is the only way to change it at this point (though I could be mistaken at a later date). 40 posts per page, though, is my ideal (though 60 isn't bad either).

I currently have mine set to 100 posts per page, which I like. I think I developed the habit due to my (usually) slow internet connection.

I almost forgot about this thread....though I assumed the lack of feedback just meant it wasn't possible.

mine is set at 100 as well. although it sucks when people refer to a page number with link as it usually doesn't get me there.

I hadn't seen it for whatever reason. sorry, no there isn't a way to do it per thread or use any codes.
