Doubleposts
Hey. :)
My technical support question for those that might know is concerning the automerged doubleposts. I know that if a user was the last poster, and then is the next poster as well, then the posts will automatically merge. But what I have come to notice is that some posts have not automerged and the posts are consecutively listed while reading. So, is there a way to bypass the automerged doubleposts? I already have an idea of how to do so, but I would appreciate some technical input from those that know for sure. Thanks. |
If no one else posts and you post again 24 hours later they dont merge, anything before then does

it keeps people from bumping threads for 24 hours to keep them near the top

If your original intent was just to add to your last post and you wanted double post to do it for you, instead, you can just click the "edit" button and directly add to your post instead of having to figure out if it's been exactly 24 hours yet.
