But just a thought, are ya gunna bring back those funky smilies that used to be found here?

Smilies are a low priority.

Like spleen said, Hal will worrry about adding smilies once everything is worked out on the boards.

Is anyone else allowed to work on the site's code? Or is Hal the only one?

Just wondering. In my experience as a coder, I often found peer review a very useful tool, and it frequently cuts down development time.
