There are so many of us who, in chat, have either services, talents or 'stuff' to share, barter or sell.
The want ads could work thusly: Only posting of what you have to offer, either in trade or to sell.(this could include job offers-we have many entrepeneurs here) It would have to be tangible-not offering up frivilous advice or how-to's.
Those interested in these 'ads' would have to pm or email the poster-thus keeping at least some bandwidth from being used. Once the request has been filled, the ad should be removed or locked.
A final thought-perhaps this forum would be one that becomes open to those who have passed rookie status.

There's millions of websites that support that kind of venture.

There's also millions of legal issues involved and I'm sure Halx would like to avoid getting his ass sued off because somebody paid for something and didn't get what he/she wanted.
