Titled Law
How about a Tilted Law section? Seems like there are constant threads asking about "is this legal?" "legal ramifications" things of that nature. Granted it would have to come with a disclaimer or something. Might be a good thing to look into. Everything from divorce to traffic tickets could be shared in there.
Also, I'm still waiting for the debate forum Last edited by Glory's Sun; 03-11-2005 at 02:31 PM.. |

A law forum was suggested a little over a year ago by someone else but died after only a few posts.
This is something I would like to see created if a suitable disclaimer were placed at the top. Posters would also need to keep in mind that laws vary from place to place so they would probably need to check their local laws on some things before preceeding on the advice gained through TFP.

The law is far too broad and different from place to place to be able to do such a thing. I mean, a person in Amsterdam, The Netherlands would give horrible legal advice about many things (pot, prostitution, etc.) as used in another country.
Same thing goes for simple state-to-state things in the US. There are just way too many areas where law is totally different, and I find it impossible to imagine a way to get around all that. |

Laws are different everywhere! Especially up here in the land of ehs. Besides, don't lawyers need our money?
