I remember once being invited into a game of strip poker, and then to my horror finding that all of the people playing were male (and as far as I know - heterosexual)... but anyway, I personally dont feel the need to have a "men only" forum, and I also dont personally see the value if the "women only" forum, but I dont object to it and it doesnt bother me in any way.

I completely agree with the OP. Ever since I got here I thought a Men's lounge would be a good idea. I'm a female, btw. Sure, the rest of the board or the internet might be mostly male, and we totally talk about boobs and dick size, but it would be nice for guys to have a safe space to talk to guys about guy stuff without having to worry about being called down or judged by women for their fears, or thoughts or whatever. I'd support a Men's Lounge. Full fourced.

A Men Lounge would be appropriate and fair.

The whole site, with exception of the LL, is a mens lounge.

i personally welcome female input on anything that i say. sometimes another opnion from the other sex is what we need

I used to wish the Ladies lounge had some highlight to it or perhaps a secret handshake for entry. I've wandered in there more then once by accident and posted. I've learned, I hope. I still find myself reading a title of a new thread in there and think "that looks interesting" and end up in there, but lately I've caught myself and left.

Women are the minority gender on TFP. Some of the best, most wonderful people on TFP are women, but they are not in the majority. They need a room to talk in. They need a club. It's a matter of evening things out a bit. I say kudos to them, and I hope they all enjoy the lounge.
