Business forum

I would like to see a separate forum for discussions on business and economics.

I consider Finance as more limited. There are many aspects to business that are far beyond purely financial topics.

give me 20 bucks and I'll second that

the usual answer is "not enough demand" ... i think you'd need to find quite a few people to want a business forum to have any chance ...

It's difficult to assess participation prior to having the opportunity to do so.

I would certainly be up for an economics type forum.

Most economic discussions here have revolved around politics and they get blurred by partisan snippets of "fact". Keeping them more focused on the economics or business aspects of the world would make them far more interesting to me.

I 2nd the motion

How do you keep politics out of it though?

They tend to be bundled, even when they shouldn't.

Politics will intrude - but the overall emphasis should be on business strategy, issues, specific company developments etc. Where politics would be appropriate is when legislation / regulation affects the business environment.
