Tilted Blatant Self Promotion =)

With so many people on here of varying backgrounds (and quite a few of us unemployed, I'm sure ;), there has got to be a wealth of resources available through this message board.
I already see this to a more specialized extent with the "ask the lawyer" threads and such, but not all of us have something that open to offer.
I think having a Tilted BSP Forum would be quite beneficial...

Wow, although I find that to be more of a sarcastic joke it is very helpful. Law Advice, How to for carpenters, ect ect...

On the other hand, people come on TFP to be free from the crappy day they had at work... They probably don't want to mix the pleasure of TFP with the strain of work.

if you want to pay for advertising, talk to halx. he can disuss terms and availabilities, if indeed he is looking for advertisers. otherwise, we're not here for people to make money from our membership. we're here as a discussion board.

I guess I have a different attitude about it... although trade of services/goods for cash would be part of a BSP forum, it's also a way for people to network and find things they might not otherwise know how to find... or something...
check out the BSP forum on an electronic music message board I'm on (geared toward dance music, naturally) :

someone plugging their latest album or hand made sweatshirts is a little different than someone plugging another discussion&adult message board, no?
