Changing your user name involves dropping into chat and talking to an admin.

The numbers for moving up are scattered about the board.
No reason to make it to obvious.
That way we avoid people jacking their post counts just to get an avatar or something then stopping posting.
We like to suddenly drop the post count for people who like to do that.

I thought the Ex Forum had just disappeared? At least it did here.

The post counts all went back to zero after the big crash of April. Unfortunately i find much more free time October to March than the rest of the year... hence low counts.

aight, all im seeing is the same stuff over and over again... so im going to bitch too... but on the side of safety....

no matter what we do to protect these pictures, they can be stolen. screen captures, cache, and many other ways (those are the two i can think of), are easy ways to steal pictures and use them for "evil", or other purposes...

a post requirment is not going to stop this, but most likely those ass holes that would do this either a) wont spend that much time posting on tfp; or b) they could be weeded out and banned!

atleast we can hope those things happen.

but im on the side of caution on this topic. i would be mad if someone exploited my picture, but i have faith that the post count will keep out jerks that would... plus... hell its me...

The minimum has been implemented and raised since the time this thread was created, so I think it's safe to say it's no longer necessary to keep open.
