Add Reply/Quote suggestion
I hope y'all follow:
I've noticed that when I'm quoting someone, and want to highlight their text using the 'vB Code' section (instead of typing out [b] for example), when I click OK it adds the text in at the end of the post. It would be more helpful and streamlined if it added the text in where the cursor is currently positioned in the post, so the user isn't forced to cut and paste it back to where it was originally. |
That might be a vB limitation; I've seen that problem on other boards. Oldtimer will know for sure, however...

Oop! I've had the answer for over a month now. In fact, I probably had it the same day you first posted this thread but just forgot to post it. :lol:
It will take a vBulletin hack though to correct this problem and whether Hal is feelin' up to the task is the real question. New vbcode.js - vBcode and smilie user interface improvement |
