BALEETED!
Yeah, I think we should be able to delete posts that we make. I have a number of times responded to posts, only right after clicking "Submit" I want to delete it because it was stupid/pointless, or I thought of a better way to do it, i.e. PM the person. I would greatly appreciate a delete post button. Thanks.

By not allowing you to delete your posts serves a few purposes:
1) It makes you stop and consider your post, to make sure you write what you intended to say. 2) It stops people from writing something completely rude or mean, letting it stay for an hour, then deleting it so they do not get in trouble. 3) It preserves the ability for people to respond to what you wrote without other people wondering what they were talking about.

Ok, thanks for responding. I do consider what I want to say, but for some reason, it doesn't click until I hit the "submit" button, and I would rather not waste a moderators time, becuase I wanted them to delete a post. I just like responding to poeple's questions to offer closure to posts/questions, and sometimes it is just an "ok" or "thanks a lot" and I don't want to spam. Thanks for the resonse though!
and btw, I do agree with the reasons why you don't delete posts.
