Great smilies
Big grin
Big grin bounce Bite hard Hit it "Lickmahpussy" so to speak... Can somebody elaborate on this one? Joshers? I know I've heard it somwhere but I'm just lost. Oh yeah! The Admin's day in, day out job. Obvious Laser shot; Just funny Flamethrower Blue Team Enforcer Blue boom Team Enforcer Kodama; these are awesome! Watch Princess Mononoke to learn more. Nuke... More Kodama Another Kodama Darn Drooling Sleeping Rudely erotic but "bukkake"....*I don't know any more about this than you do* I think they resemble money shots a lot, don't you? Blah, blah, blah....*Why does it only make sense when you say it 3 times?* Nuts "Clit"?? That's just going too far. But I'm sure some ladies here in the forum are in need of this "smilie" when they can not express this... Puke... needed this on occasion Bow down.... needed numerous times to express my gratitude and my love for the ladies... Needed to block the occasional pervert Some of these are quite hilarious. Any thoughts if we should use something like that? But it'd be nice to store these on our own servers.

I HATE animated smilies with a passion. They are far too distracting, and if they became apart of the board they would be WAAAY overused. A lot of communities do that, and the conversations become unreadable!
No I think its best that we stick to our current set.

If you find smilies you like, and the board you find them on allows you to hotlink them (the ones I've come across do... they actually give you the img tags to link with them), then by all means, use them (sparingly).

*RANT WARNING*
I am of the opinion that text emoticons are acceptable, if unneeded most of the time. Pictures representing text emoticons are at best repetitive and at worst, highly useless and annoying. The elaborate pictures (such as animated ones) concerning these smilies are even more useless. After many years of using forums, I have not found a single one where I thought the smilies had any sort of positive conversational or aesthetic impact. Perhaps it is just my opinion, and other people derive great utility from cute pictures derived from emoticons and find them indespensible in communicating ideas. I, for one, would not mind if all the smilies died in some sort of nuclear holocaust, their charred remains smiling until the bitter end.

I think a little variety in the ones we currently have would be welcome.
