Actually, we don't want people to easily see post counts. We do this because we believe that a person with low post counts has just as heavy an opinion as those who have 10,000 post counts.

I just haven't been as diligent in finding all the skins that have the post count in the post bit. When I do find them, I remove them.

It is one of the reasons that the postbit (the area under your name) is very sparse. We want to encourage people to post, read, and discuss without prejudices based on the response to the poster.

You can if you like go to the individual's profile to learn more about the poster, but within the realm of the threads, we try to keep a level playing field.

Otherwise, welcome to TFP and I look forward to your contributions to discussions.

Ah well I guess my post notified you that one of the skins had post count showing. So I guess you are welcome?

Anyways, I understand that now, I guess that's a good way to make it a fair playing ground, I guess I am just used to being able to see how many posts someone has.

Thank you very much for pointing it out. I did remove it from the skin you were using and found it on 2 other skins.

The same thing is for "member since" I guess when I have some time I should make sure that's not on the post bit either.
