Blog Text imput area is too small?
I started using the Blog and I've noticed I can only fit 7-10 words per line in the entry box. It gives the impression that I've typed much more than I actually have and almost makes it hard to go back over what I've written. It'd be cool if it was the size of the box used to make posts.

Hmm... On mine I have a little triangle indication in the lower right corner of the text input area. I can grab this and resize at will.

Nope, I don't have that with TFP green style. I'll check to see if other styles have it.
Edit: None of the TFP styles have that for me, using Firefox 3. Btw, I did check to make sure it wasn't just hidden by the white background.. It's definitely not there http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/reese6669/blog.jpg |
I just checked -- I don't have them either on firefox 3. Seems consistent across the skins... I have been using Safari lately as Firefox is maddeningly slow.
Are you a PC user? How does it behave under IE? |
To get around this as it has been irritating to myself as well, I have been making use of notepad. I write up my post in notepad first, then just copy and paste it from there. It would be nice if the feature to enlarge the text box, but this works just as well for me and I don't feel it is too much of a hassle.

all text entry screens have these little arrows to resize the entry box.

It controls the length of the text-box, though, not the width. I'm in Firefox 3.0.1.
Doesn't bother me, though. The few times I've done a long post, I'll do it in Word anyway. Too many times I've lost data when I've had to walk away from the 'puter to deal with life. :p |
got it... I adjusted it. Please let me know if there are other funky things...

It's bigger now. Much better, thanks. Everything looks good I'll keep an eye on it.
