Just a one line request... Couldn't you add the line to search new posts in the 2e_forest template. It would fit good in the navbar, under the search board button.

Pretty please with puppy dog eyes?

PS: If you don't know how to, just send me the code for the navbar template in the 2e_forest style and vB's default, and I'll do it. Fear not my friend, for I have been the administrator of a vB board for some two years.

actually I believe it is in the QUICKLINKS portion of the navbar.... of course I just cleared mine but i'll have to look at it again as new posts are created,

2e_forest is pretty snazzy, but alas I'm a "New Post" addict.

If the link were added to this layout, I'd likely make the switch. It's a very sharp theme.

Well, in the meantime, if you want to use the layout, you can use the today's posts function (under quicklinks)... It's not the same, but you can mug your way through it.

While we're at it, can we have links underlined or shaded in Insignia? This plaintext link thing is a bit too Web 2.0 for my taste.

I can fulfill some of the template changes, but not all. You'll notice that the 2e_forest theme uses icons for the top menu... and I'm no graphic artist. No guarantee if that'll ever get done.
