Tilted Work or Tilted Careers
I was thinking, not everyone who works looks at it as a job some people look at it as a career.
A forum where we can post messages and be mentors to each other exclusivly to the work force. I think once it gets going it will be a really productive forum where we can help each other in our careers, ask career and work questions without them getting lost in other forums. I can see threads for Resume building, Cover letters, preparing for the future. getting along with co-workers suggestions for looking for jobs. Threads on job creativity. How to handle tough situations etc... Anyhow just a suggestion. Esen ( Chauncey)

When I first saw the thread title, I thought it said "Tilted Ewok" and was like YEAAAH!!! Someone else shares my craziness
When creating new sub forums ... the common rule of thumb is we go by the seen demand. At this point in time, job related threads are not prevalent and are not overflowing General Discussion or Tilted Living - they fit nicely within Tilted Living because that Forum is meant to be for the things that are society related, and a career is one of those.

I think it's a great idea. I know a lot of us have our strengths and weaknesses, and we could all help each other out significantly in such a forum.

Well, If we create it, I think that if it is moderated correctly that it could be more then just a forum.
It could be a great reference tool and a great place for advice. In some ways it would be unique from the rest of our boards and would probably develop quite nicely. Anyhow something to think about.

Hell, yeah. I know I need to do something to better myself in life. It's tough to own a home, and have a kid...clearing a tick under $20k a year. She makes some money, too, thankfully, but, beyond going back to school (which I can't afford to do), my job sitch is pretty poor right now.

It's a suck-o idea. Honestly....Screw work. That's all most people seem to think about morning, noon and night. And anyhow that's SO not what we are all about, isn't it?
I suggest more submissions for better genres/examples of killer good intense, creative (or really "bad-in-a-good-way") porn. You just KNOW that'll be much more fun to see and interact with.

Well, thats part of the point, why keep work as something with a bad stigma. Why not find ways to approach it that its actually fun and exciting, and if it currently isn t maybe we can give each other advice and such to help find a job that is.
SHoot, why just go to work to make other people money. There is a point that everyone has a chance to reach where work can be about creativity, self development and actually a facet for doing something that really matters. Mods.. Will you give it some more consideration please?
