ABout time that Terrapin streak ended!
Think that pic pretty much sums it up best. Honestly I was anticipating a better effort from Maryland, but the boys were too much in that first half - just completely rattled the hell out of 'em. Amazing part is Duke played piss-poor in the 2nd half and still outscored them! "Sweat Gary Sweat! Sweat Gary Sweat!"

At this point, Duke seems to be on a level by themselves above the rest of the nation.
No disrespect to Florida fans, but your 15-0 hasn't impressed me as much as Duke has so far this year, Va. Tech game excluded

Duke didn't play that well, but Maryland completely bombed.
At least I can take some bit of consolation in the fact that this likely woke up the Terps, and we'll blow Duke out of the water when they come to Comcast.

I was expecting a much closer game. I'm sorry but the only team we have to worry about in the ACC is Carolina. The only reason to worry about them is because they always play hard against Duke. dj.. I'm sorry man, but I have a feeling you won't be rushing the court anytime soon
Nationally, I think there are few teams that Duke really needs to worry about. UConn could give major problems to the Duke backcourt. oh yeah..back to singing Duke praises I didnt' realize the recruits that were coming to Duke next year. Man oh man.. with Paulus and McRoberts playing like Sophmores already.. and some great Freshman talent coming in again next year.. whew.. Duke may just have another back to back run |

Oh, we'll see about THAT
Seriously, both Duke and Maryland are similar in one respect: when they are out of rhythem they can be taken apart, but when they have one going they can beat you. That is why the Terps won three straight: they played Redick tight, got Williams in foul trouble, and forced the surrounding cast to step up, which it didn't do. All three went Duke's way last night.

Well we've seen that the current Duke team has plenty who will step up. Williams has been in foul trouble plenty this year and Reddick has a had a bad game or two.. but this team has passion that I haven't seen in some time from Duke. That's pretty funny about the Myra Piggy thing. I wonder if Medley becomes bulimec now that everyone started oinking |
