Joe Buck
Needs a lead enema.
Jesus Christ, I'm getting sick of biased announcers in the play offs. Go Sox.

No kidding!!!! He needs to just STFU, I am sick of his commentary........he's about to join the likes of Bill Walton for the NBA and John Madden for the NFL. Those two are often bad enough to make me turn the game off.

If he's anywhere near as horrible as Al Michaels in the last TWO STRAIGHT NBA FINALS, my condolences. Bill Walton is bad, real bad. But at least he knows the game, has some honest enthusiasm for it, and can make an astute comment once an hour or so. Maybe that's why they banished him away to do half-time studio commentary during the Playoffs....sigh.
As a last resort, you could try muting the TV and listening to the radio broadcast. |

You think that's bad the international broadcast gets Rick Sutcliffe. With him one team are a bunch of thugs and cheaters and the other is cut out of clean cloth.. ALWAYS.
Will be watching tomorrow, hoping for a Sox sweep and Rick having a heart attack on air.

Two words: Jon Miller.
He is the voice of God Himself, and can make any baseball game worth listening to.

Golf has a Johnny Miller, and damned if that little blonde mormon can't turn a cloudy, drizzling 2nd Round saturday at Poughkeepsie CC into the back 9, 3rd Round of The U.S. Open at Pinehurst. |

I really love Jon Miller for his exceptional voice. He never gets boring - but sometimes it almost appears as though a little senility kicks in. Look at him - He looks like the guy on the Quaker Oats box without his wig. He's so.... old. Joe Morgan is decent, but he can make some biased comments. I'm surprised no one has mentioned LOU PINELLA yet. He did a decent job IMO |

All of Fox baseball is bad...Doesn't anyone remember what sports looked like before they had those damn bars up at the top of the screen ringing and blinking at you every five minutes...It's like the networks think we can't pay attention for more than a minute...and I hate Joe Buck because he doesn't know what he's talking about in football and his baseball commentary is noticeably cliche and tired.

Another thing that absolutely annoys me, and both McCarver and Buck are horribly guilty, is stating the BLANTANLY obvious. I'm not talking about reminding fans of the game situation (two outs, or who is on base, etc.). McCarver made a comment in Game Seven something along the lines of "The Sox have scored the most runs in every game so far." Ummmm, gee Tim, is THAT how they got up 3-0?!?! THANKS FOR THE INSIGHT!!!!

How is Grace? From the way he always interviewed here in Chicago, I think he'd be entertaining.
