I don't like em either, but you better make sure that you get your chuckles in now...

Roger Clemens will probably get 300 today... and might just set the Yankees back on track.

Glory's Sun 06-01-2003 06:46 AM

I hope roger does get 300.. I still consider him to be a red sox.. ;)

I'd like nothing better than to have old Roger have to bat in a national league game and take one to the head, just so he could see what its like. He's a chump. By the way he didn't get 300 today.:D :D

It is Baseball. THere are 162 games in the regualr season. Everyone can win - even the Tigers.

Good for them though....for one day, the beat the best team in the world.

Well, record wise, they arent the best in the world. Championship wise, they havent won in 2 years, losing to the eventual champion both times.

Perhaps we have different opinions on what constitutes being the best. ;)

I would consider them the best franchise of all time, and currently. The same team will not win EVERY year, but four times in seven years is pretty good in my book. They will get back on track this year, and may have already started. The won the latest Red Sox series (who got swept by the Jays) and took two of three from the Tigers. Their schedule from here on out is fairly easy. It is no sure thing, but I would venture to say that they will win the AL East AGAIN this year.

Im still rooting for the cubs.....

GO CUBBIES!

The Yanks got swept by the Jays too ya know ;) damn toronto lol. Sure you have an easy schedule, but I'll venture and say that the Red Sox will win the East :p As far as who the best is, history wise it's the yankees.. damn I hate saying that

I was just talking about the best team in baseball now, not past accomplishments. I don't like their middle relief, and the injury to Bernie really sets them back defensively.

Shit, at this rate the damn Jays are going to win the East...:)

Hopefully Weaver can add some stability to their middle relief, but he has looked bad with the Yanks. I would rather have a race than the Yanks up by 15 games in August...on second thought...
