America's Revolutionary Athletes
Top 25
Knew before I even hit the link that the top spot would be someone with their "rights" involved. just didn't know whether it would be Ali, Ashe or Robinson. Suprised that Hawk was that low on the list. I'm not a skate boarding fan but I do think that the sport wouldn't be as popular today without him. |
My main "complaint," if it is that, is with the order not the inclusions. I'd have Robinson first, and would put Palmer ahead of Woods (I saw a bit of an inconsistency in the text for Woods, coming a few after Palmer). Still, for what it is, I thought it was pretty good.

I, too, think the list is pretty good, but have issues with the order. I honestly believe that Mia Hamm has had a greater impact on a larger number of people than any other woman athlete ever.

i also think that they really didnt miss any that i can think of but looking at the top 2 you can have huge arguments about which one should be number 1...i think you cant really go wrong with either one at number 1 both sides would have valid arguments....but thats whats best about lists like this, they are made for discussion, argument and complaining...
but i think curt flood(#7) is maybe a little too high |
I would love to have a print of the Jackie Robinson photo. Would look awsome in a nice frame up on the wall.
